By accessing or purchasing from MyPermitDesk ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

MyPermitDesk provides business license research reports for informational purposes. Reports summarize state and federal licensing requirements based on publicly available regulatory data. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.

3. Informational Use Only

All reports are for informational purposes only. Licensing requirements change frequently. You are responsible for independently verifying all requirements with the relevant government authorities before operating your business. MyPermitDesk is not liable for any business decisions made based on report content.

4. Payment and Billing

Individual reports are sold for a one-time fee. Pro tier subscriptions are billed monthly. All payments are processed through our payment processor. By purchasing, you authorize the charge described at the time of purchase.

5. Refunds

Please see our Refund Policy for full details. Individual reports are eligible for a refund within 7 days of purchase if the report could not be generated for your business type and state. Monthly Pro subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; no partial-month refunds are issued.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or republish report content without written permission
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the platform
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Circumvent payment gates, access controls, or rate limits
• Use the service to provide competing research or licensing services without a written agreement
• Submit false information or impersonate another person or business
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law

Violation may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

Report templates, design, and original written content are © 2026 MyPermitDesk. Government-sourced regulatory data is in the public domain. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, contact us via the Contact page with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) location of the infringing material, (c) your contact information, and (d) a statement of good faith belief and accuracy under penalty of perjury.

9. Intellectual Property

All site content, design, and report templates are owned by MyPermitDesk. Government-sourced regulatory data is in the public domain. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use your report.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Reports are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. MyPermitDesk does not warrant that report content is complete, current, or error-free. This service is not a substitute for a licensed attorney, CPA, or financial advisor.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyPermitDesk's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant report or subscription in the 30 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
